Every year people go bananas for Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale because it features many baby gear brands that rarely have deals.
The way it works is Nordstrom cardmembers (apply here) get early access on August 13th (Thursday) then the sale opens up to the rest of the world on August 19th (the next Wednesday).
Note: you can shop even earlier depending on the tier of your Nordy Club status, but if you are already at ‘Icon level’ you don’t need a peasant like me explaining access levels.
This year I’ve gone through and cherry picked the deals that are worth checking out.
I highly recommend scoping out the sale and creating a wish list before it starts because things sell out quickly (like Black Friday quickly) and I don’t want you to miss out.
Best Deals from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:
This one is always a hot ticket item because Nuna is very picky about their retailers (they won’t sell on Amazon) and they don’t go on sale very often.

This is a popular infant car seat for good reason. It’s comfy and incredibly light – it weighs under six pounds. Most strollers can accommodate it (you may have to buy adaptors) but double check to make sure.
You save: $105.05
Other notable car seat deals:
This stroller has new upgrades from the older model including better suspension, extra storage and an updated canopy. It’s one of my favorite strollers if you can swing the price tag. They have great resale value and last for multiple kids (they can accommodate another seat to convert to a double.)

Thule makes beautiful strollers that glide like damn butter. Even if you don’t run, these strollers are great on rough terrain and in snow because of their large wheels and cushy ride. They have both the single and double on sale.

Other notable stroller deals:
The Tripp Trapp has stood the test of time (it was designed in 1972) and it’s a parent favorite. This version comes with the cushion and tray set so you don’t have to buy them separately.
You save: $89
They have quite a few headbands and bows in this sale so if you love a big bow you will find many to choose from. Safety note: don’t leave babies unsupervised in these. They can slip down their face and become a suffocation risk.
You save: $8
This silicone set includes the Tiny Cup, 2 Tiny Spoons and a Tiny Bowl, and all the pieces dishwasher and microwave safe. The mat portion on the bowl grips your table or highchair so it’s harder for kids to yeet it across the room. They have always been one of my go-to baby shower gifts.

These tubs are great space savers and a travel favorite – this is how small they fold down. This one also comes with the infant insert and the temperature-sensitive plug.
You save: $16
This thing is beyond soft and it has ears. I mean, I’m not sure what else to say here. It comes in a few colors and makes a great gift too.
You save: $17
They have a few variations of these super cute socks including a dinosaur and unicorn set.
You save: $7
This set includes two 5 oz. bottles, two 8 oz. bottles, two slow-flow replacement nipples, two medium flow replacement nipples, and two fast-flow replacement nipples. These bottles are also a popular pick for breastfed babies. They have the pink set on sale as well.
You save: $19
Clearly I love things with ears (see towel above) however, this cozy bunting is back up by great ratings from other parents. I nearly didn’t feature it because it didn’t look like it had fold over mitts – that’s a deal breaker for me – but I read that it does in the description so you are free to buy one then send me photos of your baby dressed in it.
You save: $15
This is a great backpack to tote your kiddo around the world. It has a breathable back panel and cushioned hip belt to keep both you and baby cool and comfortable.
You save: $97
Okay, I know this isn’t ‘baby gear’ per se, but I think it still counts. If you’re looking for a legging that isn’t see-through then these are worth checking out.
You save: $26
