CDECE 45 – Week 4 – Prenatal Development and Birth

Hi there: Welcome to week 4 where we will be studying about prenatal development as well as the birthing process I just went into my development lab to be sure all the links are working and watched the birthing video, which I highly recommend

It is tastefully done and for those of you who have been through a birth, it will be a nice reminder For those who haven't, it will give you a little insight into some of the emotions a mother might be feeling as she works toward giving birth I want to be sure everyone is on the same page with regard to getting a few things done to help smooth the semester along You need to gain access this week to My Development Lab The time for procrastination is over — and I know we have procrastinators because I read all of your introduction essays — and many of you owned up to it! So, this week, you need to make that happen

And, it is better to look over those materials that support our weekly readings before you go in and answer your discussion question It gives you more support and ways to expand your answers When you are writing your discussion answers, don't forget to cite your sources from the textbook I might give a statement I have put in my own words, but then, I'm going to state where that came from by putting the author's name and page number in parenthesis Also, be sure to remember to give a personal connection to each of the posts

This also helps you meet your word requirements Finally, before you finish, hit the spell check button, which is the little check mark with an ABC above it And look to be sure you have answered the question Then post your response Have a great week and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions
